Homemade Granola

October 24, 2020 By: sisterdiy

Whether it is for breakfast, for snack or to take on a hike, homemade granola is as easy as it is delicious. You are just a handful of ingredients away from enjoying this scrumptious treat. Oats, cinnamon, maple syrup, honey, coconut oil and a pinch of salt is all that you need to get started. To start, just mix everything in a bowl, then pour onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake. Above all, you don’t need a mixer, clean up is super easy, and it will be ready by the time you finish washing the few dishes that this recipe calls for. It’s totally customizable too! For instance, you could add seeds, butters or even chocolate.

How to make granola from scratch

All you need is a large bowl and a spatula. First start with rolled oats, add in your cinnamon and salt and mix to evenly distribute. After that, add in your honey, maple syrup and coconut oil. Next, you are going to mix everything together until every oat is coated. Lastly, spread evenly onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden, stirring halfway through.
