Easy Chewy Homemade Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats rolled/old fashioned
  • 1 cup flour all-purpose
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 TBS molasses blackstrap
  • 1 TBS sunflower seed butter heaping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ

  2. In a large bowl, mix oats, flour, salt, cinnamon and sugar. Make a well and add your honey, oil, molasses, sunflower seed butter, and egg. Mix well with a spatula until well blended and the ingredients come together.

  3. Baked for 20-25 minutes in a 9X13in pan lined with parchment paper until set and edges are lightly brown. Allow to cool for a good 10 minutes in the pan. Remove and cut while warm. Allow to cool completely and then enjoy!

Recipe Notes

I like to use a combination of brown sugar and coconut sugar. You can use any type of sugar you prefer.
